650 troops have returned home from Iraq. But rather than dealing with enemy combatants, they may be called on to deal with unruly Americans.

This Army personnel may be called upon “to help with civil unrest or crowd control” in a domestic emergency. And they will be stationed here in Georgia.

This would violate the Posse Comitatus Act, which severely limits the ability for the government to use military force against it’s own citizens.

This would be the first time that Army Personnel had been deployed at home (The Civil War, excluded).

*putting on my tin-foil hat for a moment… Is there something going on in Georgia that we don’t know about? Is the Atlanta gas crisis about to get much much worse?

*(tin-foil hat off). I’m just sayin’.
