The Republican Party is beginning to tear themselves apart.
Many Republicans feel that the solution to their recent election debacle is to dump half of their own members. The anti-intellectual social conservatives are even on the march against Fox News, claiming that the network is…get this… too liberal.
Some comments (horrid spelling and grammar included) from the bowels of the conservative movement include:
-
I don’t watch Fox. Too far left.
-
I no longer watch that station. O’Reilly turned into an Obama shill and the network fell in line quickly after they realized Obama would be elected.
-
Fox is no longer a quality news source. So where are we go go now?
-
O’REILLY changed his tune in favor Obama about 4 months ago. The attack yesterday to Palin was despicable. I was a fan of Fox, no anymore, I will keep seeing only Hamnity’s shows.
Apparently, they are all pissed about the unfair coverage of Sarah Palin. But it doesn’t stop there! There’s also a healthy dose of homophobia:
-
It’s no secret to the gay community that Shepard Smith is “one” of them.
-
I can do without: (1) Shep Smith’s creepy-looking eyes.
-
That Shep started giving me the creepers with his sudden love for 0.
-
Also, I suggest freepers send complaints about Shep Fag to foxnews.com.
A smidge of persection complex and/or racial overtones:
- I said a couple of years ago that Fox had people from the dark side over there, especially on the weekends.
Here, you’ll find a sweet slice of what-the-f!@?:
- I’ve boycotted Faux for the most part ever since their shameful Katrina coverage.
-
BTW, I’m still boycotting France.
-
The problem with FOX is that they are pandering to people that truly want fair and balanced. We conservatives want the truth.
-
I’m sick of FOX parroting liberal propaganda as it always does; more than any other network, it’s been in the tank for Hussein since day 1.
Unsolicited advice to Republicans who may stumble across this blog: These people are the problem with your political party. The prideful ignorance, the intolerance, the my-way-or-the-highway viewpoint that took over during the Clinton impeachment is why the GOP is in such dire straits. The solution is not to kowtow to these nutcases anymore; the solution is to find the Reagan pro-business agenda again, and emphasize personal liberties and individual rights, and self-reliance, and all those other great things that your party used to stand for.
