Can someone explain the fascination between Republicans and straw polls?
Do Democrats even have straw polls in Georgia? If so, are they ever reported on?
Just seems weird. “Straw polls’ in some rural county are given a weight and gravitas that doesn’t appear on the Dem side.

In all honesty, it is these types of things that keep the GAGOP in the news, whereas DPG candidates have to work harder to get in the news (or have built in ‘newsworthiness’ ala Baker and Barnes).
Seriously though, if you hear of anything something one of the D candidates is doing, please make sure I know about it. I’ll be more than happy to report on it, but I gotta be aware of it first…

Jeff,
I guess GOP candidates don’t have any ‘newsworthiness.’ Hence, straw polls done in horse stalls on GOP candidates for State Executive Offices.
